Hibla is now back in Moscow from Vienna where she sang the role of Donna Anna in the series of performances of Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Wiener Staatsoper as Donna Anna alongside the Mexican tenor Rolando Villazon as Don Ottavio and the Czech bass-baritone Adam Plachetka as Don Giovanni under the button of Alain Altinoglu.

And now Hibla is preparing to open the 13th Music Festival Hibla Gerzmava invites… For 12 years the Festival was taking place in Abkhazia but this year it is the first time it will be running in Moscow. The Festival comprises three concerts. On Thursday, February 6, at the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre Hibla Gerzmava alongside jazz pianist, composer Sergei Makeev and the Theatre’s Jazz Band will present the new program Opera. Jazz. Blues. Tuesday, March 18 will see the performance of Verdi’s Requiem and Tuesday, April 29 will feature the recital Viva L’Opera!, both taking place at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
