On Wednesday, December 3, at the Moscow Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre, Hibla Gerzmava will sing the role of Antonia and will play the role of actress Stella in Jacques Offenbach’s Les contes d’Hoffmann (production by Alexander Titel). In January, she will appear in both of these roles in New York, at the Metropolitan Opera, in the production staged by Bartlett Sher and conducted by Yves Abel. Hibla will share the stage with Vittorio Grigolo (Hoffmann), Thomas Hampson (Four Villains) et al. Performances will take place on January 12, 16, 22, 27, 31, and February 5.
