Thursday 27 January at the Buckingham Palace in London sees an amazing event, in which Hibla Gerzmava will take part: charity event to raise funds in support of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Fundraising Gala „Beloved Friend“, programmed especially for this occasion is dedicated to the great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and a great admirer of his talent, patroness Nadezhda von Meck. Hibla will be singing Tatiana’s aria („Letter Scene“) from the opera „Eugene Onegin“ and the final scene of the opera (along with baritone Vassily Ladyuk). Following the Gala performance, all participants of the concert, singers, actors, musicians and dancers, will be presented to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and will join them and other honoured guests for a dinner at the Art Gallery of the Buckingham Palace.
