On Thursday, October 18, Hibla Gerzmava will make her debut at the Wiener Staatsoper, one of the most famous opera houses in the world. Vitellia in La clemenza di Tito, the first Mozart’s role in Hibla’s repertoire, brought her a very warm reception among the colleagues, European critics as well as Parisian audiences last year during a month of triumphant performances at the Palais Garnier, Opéra National de Paris. In La Clemenza di Tito at the Wiener Staatsoper this month, Hibla will once again work with Adam Fischer, who is one of the most distinguished conductors of Haydn’s and Mozart’s repertoire. Hibla’s partners on stage in a production by a famous German opera and drama director Jürgen Flimm will be Richard Croft (Tito), Magdalena Kozená (Sesto) and Chen Reiss (Servilia).
