A new page in the repertoire of Hibla Gerzmava opens with the appearance of the role of Liù (performances on 18 & 20 February). Atonement love, sacrifice, tenderness and unbending will: this way Puccini created Liù, so opera-goers will see her such way performed by Hibla. Giacomo Puccini’s opera “Turandot” directed by Charles Roubaud goes on tour in Japan, where the constellation of the Mariinsky Theatre opera singers will join our Supernova. By an amazing coincidence, all the names of performers major parties begin at the same letter: Hibla Gerzmava, Maria Guleghina and Vladimir Galuzin. On top of that, Valery Gergiev will conduct these performances, turning the cast into a real G-force! Will this mean that after the performances in Tokyo’s NHK Hall it will be referred to as a «Genuine-Genial-Great-Gorgeous-Gracious», we will know very soon!
