Hibla Gerzmava was awarded a title of People’s Artist of Russia (Decree by the President of the Russian Federation, on 09.01.2012, No. 33). This is the highest and most prestigious official title that artists receive in Russia, it is given in honour of a great achievement and contribution to the world of arts.
