On Monday, July 8 Hibla Gerzmava will appear at the 25th Colmar International Festival directed by Vladimir Spivakov. Alongside the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia conducted by Maestro Spivakov she will sing the famous Tatiana’s Letter Scene from Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, which she didn’t sign since her Royal Opera debut in 2008. Hibla will also present a selection of famous arias and cabalettas from operas by Verdi and Bellini — Amalia from Verdi’s I masnadieri (The Bandits) as well as Norma. The concert takes place at St Matthieu’s Church at 9:00PM.
