“At night in my garden…” is the name of the concert program that will be presented to the Siberian public by the brilliant and incomparable Khibla Gerzmava, a star of world opera and the owner of a unique voice about which legends are made, and admirers of her talent say with delight: “Her soprano is such beauty, that if she had just sung scales, aesthetic pleasure would have been guaranteed even then.”
Khibla Gerzmava is a People’s Artist of Russia and Abkhazia, the first in history to receive the Grand Prix of the International Competition named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, multiple winner of the National Golden Mask Award, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation for his contribution to the development of domestic and world art. The singer’s performing talent is applauded by the public in France, Great Britain, Holland, Turkey, Japan, and the USA.
As part of the XV International Christmas Arts Festival on the stage of the State Concert Hall. A.M. Katz will perform works that make up the pearl of Khibla Gerzmav’s chamber repertoire. Together with accompanist Ekaterina Ganelina, her constant creative partner, whose unsurpassed tandem has been conquering the world musical community for more than 30 years, the singer will perform vocal cycles and romances by Russian composers Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.
