Today Sergei Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, has awarded Hibla Gerzmava with a Diploma and Medal “for a great personal contribution to collaboration between the Russian Federation and the United Nations in the area of education, science and culture (UNESCO)”. The award ceremony took place during the Russia’s UNESCO committee meeting marking 60 years since Russia (USSR) had joined this organisation.
