Melodiya, prestigious Russia’s record label, has released Hibla Gerzmava’s new album featuring chamber vocal works of the end of the 19th − first quarter of the 20th century. The disc features romances and songs by Russian composers: Pyotr Tchaikovsky,Sergei Rachmaninov, Nikolai Myaskovsky, and Sergei Prokofiev. Pianist Yekaterina Ganelina, Hibla Gerzmava’s longtime musical partner, accompanies her in this recording.
